To Strengthen the Law Protection of the Intellectual Property

A complete system of intellectual-property laws and regulations and an efficient law enforcement and justice system are important guarantees for the goal of strengthening intellectual property protection. While strictly implementing relevant regulations of the Civil Code, it is necessary to accelerate the improvement of relevant laws and regulations, to make overall plans to promote the revision of the Patent Law, the Trademark Law, the Copyright Law, the Anti-Monopoly Law, the Science and Technology Progress Law and so on, in order to enhance the consistency between laws. It’s also necessary to expedite the legislation in the fields of geographical indications, trade secrets and so on. It’s necessary to strengthen civil judicial protection and to formulate legislation norms that conform to the rules of intellectual property cases.  Besides, it’s important to improve the quality and efficiency of intellectual property trail and enhance credibility. It’s necessary to promote the unification of intellectual property administrative law enforcement standards, and improve the connection mechanism between administrative law enforcement and judicial trails. What’s more, it is also necessary to improve criminal and judicial law interpretations, and to intensify criminal crackdowns. It’s necessary to strengthen administrative law enforcement, and to strike hard on those key areas and regions where there are lots of complains, public attention and frequent infringement and counterfeiting.
